Leadership
We are passionate about God because we are created to love God and know Him
Pastor Roy & Leela
We, Roy & Leela Varghese have been in Glasgow since 2016 as the full-time minister of VFC Glasgow. Both of us are originally from VFC Singapore. We came as missionaries to Belfast, Northern Ireland in the year 2000 to plant a vibrant church in Belfast.
Both of us have served in other VFC churches in Dublin, Singapore and Liverpool before coming to Glasgow. Roy is also the Regional Missions Director for Western Europe which covers about 20 churches for the glory of God.
He travels at least once a month to some of these churches to encourage and challenge them in their journey with God. Both of us are passionate about seeing people coming to know the Lord as their personal Lord & Saviour, each one growing in the knowledge & grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and fulfilling their destiny in God.
Pastor Everson & Bridget
Everson and Bridget have been servants of Christ, the Gospel and the Church for over 11 years. Having been married for 32 years, they are blessed with four daughters and no grandchildren yet!
In addition to pastoral responsibilities in teaching, preaching, shepherding and administration, Everson and Bridget lead the Pastoral Care Ministry which includes families, youth, children and nursery and visitations.
They have passionate desire to see people come to faith in Christ and for Christians to grow in their understanding of what it means to follow Christ and live as members of a redeemed and holy community. Their values are centered on servant-hood with humility and self-sacrifice.
Pastor Davies & Nyaradzo
We have been serving the Lord for many years and joined VFC in 2003 when we emigrated to Scotland.
In addition to Pastoral and administration duties we are both active members of the worship team as we are both passionate about praise & worship.
We are blessed with 3 children one of whom is also a worship singer.
Although we are not yet in full-time Ministry as we are both in other professional employment we trust that God will lead and enable us down that path one day.
